    Hi.

Is there any way to register a .us domain as a non us-resident?
what if a us-resident registers it and then pushes it to my account, would that work?

This is the fourth time I have read this question

Lurk more or use the search

Yes you can register it regardless of your location, if not you are registering with a shitty host

Yes, anyone can reg a .us name but the correct rules are that you either have to be a US citizen or doing business in the US, otherwise you could lose your name.

Thats correct but wid whois privacy any one can violate this term and can register a .us. The whois should give info that it belongs to a people residing in US.(some people give fake us adresses n names but no action is taken)

Once ur business using .us tops then troubles may start....be carefull

Just registered a .us domain for my new project, had no problem applying with LT contacts, but what really disappointed me is that PUBLICDOMAINREGISTRY.COM didn't provide a privacy protect for .us domain. I have no idea why they don't allow it for .us domains =(

The .US registry does not allow private registrations. The Patriot Act and all that.
