    I like it. It is realistic that the hero can die.
    Look at Rambo, he never dies, so now he became a joke. LOL

    In some movies like the The Guardian there are 2 different endings: 1 in the cinema and 1 in the DVD.
    Stephen King's 1048 also got 2 endings: 1 exactly the same in the novel, 1 by the film maker.
