lost ranking :(

    so my friends, I'm trying to rank for digital photography - I was #42, I changed H1 tags on all pages from "my photo blog" to "digital photography" and google moved me back #222 what's going on? what am I doing wrong?

    Well in SEO proses H1 tag have good value it is help to get ranking on SERPS but I want to ask you one thing why you change your onpage if everything is going right direction?

    Anyway if your site will not coming with in an week then it's clear that google apply penalty on them, now on that situation I can't tell do changes again and do as it was, I think you w8 at least one week and then think to do something else

    well I wasn't going anywhere beyond post 42 so I decided to change something... plus "my photo blog" has no search traffic at all, and having it at h1 is just a waste.

    When did you changed your site? 1 Week? 2 Weeks?

    You better wait a few days just to check what happens. Alot of times we change our sites and the serp's drop. But they'll get up again and stronger :)

    try to build link with "digital Photography" as anchor text, wait a week and see, but I think with the h1 tag, title tag and links, you should definitely rank higher for those words

    Before doing anychanges always keep in mind that you will lost your ranking for some time But after some time you will get your ranking either good or same so keep hard work
