PR Not coming

    Hello,

    My one friend has website and having good content and back links.

    Its approx. 4 years old website.

    Still there is no Google PR showing for the website.

    Can you please help me out?

    Infact pr is not a matter your friend should worry..concentrate on link building and pr will come automatically...if he still worries about it, then ask him to buy some links from high pr sites

    I'm having the same problem with a weightloss site of mine. However, I've only been link building since last december and still no pr. I'm thinking the domain has been banned or was previously dropped.

    Hmm, maybe check that it doesn't have any incoming/outgoing links to bad neighborhoods.

    Backlinks is the answer for that problem. If you got more backlinks then you have also a good pr.

    Your friend's site is probably penalized by google for selling paid links or something like that. So you do not have pagerank even after 4 years(I am sure that your friend has received some backlinks within that period)

    I think your friend site is not quality back links, you can build quality back links, then next updation you get pr.

    Although PR isnt necessarily important for serps anymore, it is an indication of something else. There is a difference beween PRzero and no PR.

    If your PR is 0, thats fine. Google knows your site is there, has a link to it or two, and alls well.
    If you have no PR, thats not fine, as it means your site is not linked to or indexed. So, in that case, yes, PR does matter.. a lot.

    The main thing if he is getting good rankings or not, PR is just a google constraint but for still a good PR, he has to get good PR relevant links.

    and since then PR was exported twice as far as i can really remember...
