As of late, I'm seeing some sites that are purely made for spamming the search engines. They've loads of pages indexed in G and I believe they're getting nice traffic and they've ads at perfect postition. Some are the sites that have search pages and some have duplicate content. You think Adsense allow this? I know Google will de-index them sooner or later but they can make good amount of money in the meantime. Adsense allows this? Looking forward to the replies
Adsense can ban them for search spamming. Their program policy says something like 'you should have good traffic sources'.
maybe they will get some action for a little while but google will find out and then their adsense will be in trouble
They can for sure but do they ban for SE spamming? Such sites get huge traffic from SEs (only for a while) and I guess SEs come under 'good traffic sources'. For search results or for Adsense? I know dup content sites lose rankings but I'm concerned with Adsense. May I ask why? Any idea?
Adsense doesnt ban for such sites is what I have seen. Site is banned only from Search Results Added : Dup content sites have very slow indexing but rank well.
i doubt. adsense bot and google bot are 2 are different. as per matt cutts, adsense bot is just a crawl cache so i dont think adsense bot can tell if some site did search engine spamming
What about Article Directories? They are nothing but a load of dup content. So, I dont think Google penalizes dup content. At least not as of now. Maybe the indexing and ranking is slow. Not really encouraging Dup content.
