Well google showed up on my site a few minutes ago and I went from 40 backlinks showing to 485! When I check webmaster tools it still shows the last spider as June 24th. What happens from here? and I get some decent positions for my keywords? Could it still be weeks before my lousy PR of 0 changes? Thanks in advance. -Patz
mine shows google last accessed page on june 24th but thats not true as google has a cache of my page on Jul 2nd and still im sure its accessed my page even after July 2nd ... PR updates every 3 months or so and should be updating soon by the end of the month or so
Is a jump in backlinks of that amount enough to get my pr moving? I know there are lots of factors. -Patz
for PR pretty much the only factor is the Pr of those inlinks, if there all pr0 then u may or maynot get an increase otherwise you should
Did you noticed where are you backlinks came from? Did you build them? If they are strong and relevant, they will surely help your ranking.
All you have to do is type the following into AllTheWeb first then Yahoo second... linkdomain: mywebsite.com -site:mywebsite.com ...Find the average of those two results and then multiply that by 1.6-4.8 depending on the age of your site in years and that will return your realistic number of backlinks that Google sees -- but an easier method is to use the Google webmasters tools -- unless you're like me and don't want G spying on you_.)(
PR is the only thing you have to put attension into Why is DIGG PR 9? Why not pr 0? Anyway to sell your site you need visitors income proof + pr juice if you have all three.. then you can flip your sites as low as $500 as high as $10000 online in sitepoint marketplace
PR won't come, until the PR update, and even then, depending on how new your links are, you may not have PR. 485 links, depending on the niche, won't do too much for you.... it will bump you up there, but it wont get you first probably.
