    I'm not defending honor killing. My objection was on this title "Pakistani Muslim in Atlanta kills daughter for honor killing", its should be like "Pakistani in Atlanta kills daughter for honor killing". I am from Pakistan and I know its a cultural issue here. Regardless of any religion people here would prefer go to jail for commiting murder than live free in the society where everyone knows their son/daughter had ranaway or dishonor their family by having pre-marital sex, having child before marriage, got raped or raped someone or involved in any other criminal activity etc. Thats done by the insane or hot temper ones. Those with sanity in them leaves the neighbourhood even the city and cut down all old contacts to avoid shame.

    this happens everywhere but happens more among the islamic community
