    hello everyone,
looking for nice online ideas of promoting pic-place.com

already got a nice description for it below...
Pic-Place is a website that allows you to upload your pictures, files and text documents all for free. You could then use them on message boards, blogs or share with your family and friends.

please give me all your thoughts and ideas
even the simplest marketing promotion i may have overlooked because it is literally 12 hours old :p

I agree with other posters, change the design.

For promoting, try uploading pics by yourself and posting them (with hyperlink to your site) on celebrity forums or other pic related forums. Just google for niche specific forums.

Hmm as most of the posters said you do need a new design. Whish I guess it is a bit old.

As for ideas im leaning towards a red/silver sleek type of layout.

I saw that lewi updated the look a bit.

Looks a little bit better I think. I am a fan of the simplicity of it.

BTW, make sure when your designing to check it in a few different browsers. IE6, 7 and FF are major ones.

Completely agree. Compatibility is key. Also be sure to check its resolution. Aiming for 1024x768 seems to be safe. Doubt many people use 800x600 anymore.

Yeah, try 1024x748. The 800x600 layouts are too limited in space.
