1,000's OF VISITORS TO MY SITE EVERYDAY - GOOD AD PLACEMENT - TINY PROFITS!! Why????

My traffic numbers are really H-U-G-E!!! Seriously! (The traffic stat counter was installed only a couple of days ago but I base my numbers on AdSense impressions - # of.)

I have followed all the 'expert' tips to a 'T'. Blending, large rectangle ads, centrally placed, right hand skyscraper, ads positioned above the fold and blah, blah, blah, blah!!! BUT, my earnings (even though they are increasing slowly) are still peanuts!!!

Really frustrated with this! What the heck am I doing wrong!? I know that my site isn't 100% Absolutely Perfectimo but it looks good enough to attract positive comments so I'm obviously doing something right.

I HATE ADSENSE! I HATE ADSENSE! I HATE ADSENSE! (There, I feel much better now!)

Your Alexa rank in 9.6 million. How does that translate in H-U-G-E traffic ?

Google, ezine articles, forum signatures, email signature, personal referrals, from advertising on busy dating site, backlinks, blog post signatures, some highly targeted paid traffic, etc, etc, etc.

Adsense is not working for Me and I can't work out where the major problem is!?

I'm getting 1,000's everyday, for a weblog that is pretty decent! I did quote the numbers in the postings title so I don't need for you to rub my Alexa ranking in my face thanks! Can You offer something more constructive please?

But you getting such an traffic. Your current alexa rank is around 9.6 Million but its 200,000 for the current period. So surely you getting high traffic and i think and hope it is real....

No idea why you are not getting money. I think try to put ads in the content itself using any plugin or so.

 

Ok now we can get to the nitty gritty. Your biggest problem right now is that you have found out that your traffic is worthless. Which it is true. The overwhelmingly vast majority of people who will click your ads will be from the search engine traffic you generate. Those are the facts. Keep writing articles, because those are good for backlinks. You need all the back links you can get.

I see you have targeted a money, or make money niche which is a tough niche to get into. I would put this site on the back burner and work your local lawyer niche or something like that.

Also there are way to many ways to leave your site, if you are trying to make adsense money. People need to have two options to leave your site

1. The back button
2. Click your adsense link. Thats it.

So I would ditch the news paper links. Quit buying traffic, it will never be worth it for adsense. Move that 100% guarantee link, so most of your adsense will be above the fold. And last but not least, make some coffee and go to www.makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com. This site transformed my online money making in literally about 30 days.

Don't build another site until you have read this whole site. This is who I and countless others learn from. Good luck.

 

Apart from adsense are other products converting well for you like clickbank ?

 

Adsense takes time it doesn't come pouring in over night and while you may be getting high traffic for your site it isn,t good traffic. You need large numbers of targeted traffic to convert.

The longer your site is around the more search engine traffic you will get and these people are the the ones who click ads because they are actively searching for something.

Also you are probably in the worst niche to make any money considering everyone and their brother claims they know how to make money online and have 50 make money sites. It is ironic though that you have a blog telling people how to make money and you come here upset because you just started the blog and are getting very little in adsense.

I think if you're on the making money niche, most of your visitors are either bloggers or webmasters, and most of them know about AdSense and won't click em

You'd better go for affiliate marketing or referrals (IMO)

and your site have 1000 visitors everyday and your alexa is 9 700 000

 

change the color of the links in the adsense ad unit, they look black so nobody pays attention to them.
use the normal google color rather than using black.

 

Not true!! It is weeks older than that, not sure where you are getting your stats from!?

Is it just me or do anyone else find it hilarious that the OP has a "Make Money Site" with the title "How 'You' Can Make Big Money Online!" but yet he do not know how to make any money off of it? LOL
