Image ads or text ads?

    which is best to have under the welcome text on the home page of my site where the 468x60 image is now? should I go text ads instead?

    Go with text ads, and make sure the background matches, it should have a high click rate!

    Not to steal a thread here, but thank you for this information. So 3 is the limit, after 3, are we allowed to have another ad companies banner? Like, 3 google, 1 adbrite?

    Hmmm just saw 2 text ads + 2 link units and that is regular. No problem at all.

    Adsense images tend to get a very low ctr because they usually have nothing to do with your site. I would recommend going with other companies if you are looking for images (Like the ones where they tell you to "shoot the bottle" or something like that). For adsense, blended text works great
