Hi, I have done many sites, some of which go straight into the google listing at or near number one based on their domain name. Others get absolutly no where. What is the best way to launch a new site? I'be tried link building, signature links, articles. Sometimes it works fantastically well, sometimes it just falls flat on its face. It seems to be completely hit or miss. What do you think is the best method? Thanks Matt
• Create a myspace profile named Yourdomain.com • Submit 1 article to article directories with your keyword as the title • Upload Videos with your url in the description to Myspace tv • Create an Amazon AStore named Yourdomain-com • Create a channel on Youtube using your keyword • Post a topic on related forums with the keyword in the subject line. (try something like yourdomain.com may be for sale - anyone interested?) • Create a Yahoo Group called Yourdomain-com • Create a Google group called Yourdomain-com • Create a Mybloglog account named yourdomain.com • Use a social bookmarking program like BookMarking Demon • Upload video to AOL video with the title yourdomain.com and your url in the description • Create some backlinks to all of these url’s using the anchor text you are trying to rank for.
social bookmarking is the best way to launch a site. Make a great article like "top 10 things..." [something related to your blog niche] and submit it to stumble, digg and reddit. if your article is great and others will vote it the site will have a huge traffic boost. If you get to buzz.stumblepon or digg frontpage you can have over 10k uniques in just a couple of hours.
Before you actually launch your site, get yourself prepared with well research contents and standby at least 10 articles on hand. Add them gradually after you launch your site so that you always have fresh contents to keep the site going.
Yep social bookmarking will help you get indexed fast, then work on building up some good quality links targeting the keywords you want to rank for. You can also post in related forums about the site (obeying each forums rules and regs) and possibly write and release a press release about the site to help get the word out and get some good backlinks.
Agreed with you, but is really hard to get front page in digg.You can get only if you have a strong,old profle.
