Hello, I've been working for the past 4 years and throughout that time I have brainstormed some ideas with loads of potential/profit online. At this point in my life, however, the money I generate from article writing goes to personal expenses and college and that means I have little or no money to pursue business plans that I know will be successful. Are there any investors on this site? Or can anyone that experienced a similar issue guide me to the right site? I am a very personable person and will have no problem convincing potential investors of both the potential of my ideas and the reliability of myself as an investee (real word haha?). Thanks in advance to all who can help!
Anyone? I have ideas practically spewing out of me, but I need some investment funds to get the ball rolling.
Prosper Social lending. Never used it, but let me know how it works out if you use it. It's a pretty big site as far as I know, been around for awhile (I know that for a fact) Thanks Mike
I wouldn't waste a thing on social lending. I've never looked into it because I can't trust a complete stranger with my money. Especially if they have bad credit. I don't care what kind of reputation they have on the Internet, I'll leave lending to banks and lenders who are able to hunt down anyone who can't pay their bills each month. Personally, I'd start saving all you can and save investments a few years down the road. Too many people look to spend around $1,000 and get something in return that is substantial- it's funny. Wait a few years and get $50,000, and you chances at success will be much greater.
True, you bring up a valid statement. And I have had lots of success turning small money into a lot more, it takes creativity and innovative ideas. DiscussWii.com - Invested 100$ into it and sold it via SitePoint for 600$ two weeks later.
Also, in response to your original question, yes there are plenty of investors on DP. In fact, you can shoot me a PM and if what you say interests me I may bite. If not, good luck. (And nice sale, but I personally think DiscussWii.com could have made a killing if you slapped a forum onto it and did some SEO work.)
Very True, one of the reasons I try to stay away from partners, he forced the sale because he wanted out :/
Try a call out on Digitalpoint, sitepoint and warriorforums for anyone that would like to invest. Pitch it right and youll find people.
