    and Which is the preferred bank handle best bankwire in India

    Charges may differ from bank to bank. For the precise information on the transaction charge, you should contact your bank branch. Indian banks such as Citi bank, HSBC and HDFC bank do perform well with wire transfers.

    Shall be descent if you would choose ICICI, HSBC, Citi bank etc for wire , because they do it fast..generally charges depends upon the amount,minimum is $25.

    What i would prefer to do is ask my sender to pay to my paypal account and from there transfer the money to my ICICI bank account.

    In this way no money is lost :D
