    If you can post the comments relevant to the post its no longer a spam.
    If you know any extra information about the topic you can tell them.
    that's not a spam.don't leave your site url alone with out any relevant comment

    are you just throwing random words at the screen? this makes no sense at all.

    Most blogs these days are nofollow, so it doesn't help PR.
    It's worth doing to make connections with bloggers in your niche, maybe for a little traffic from the url/post itself, but mostly to build relationships with blogs that 'matter' in your field.

    if you comment on related do-follow blogs at the subject of the article then it's no problem but if you just SPAM like "visit this site blablablah" the owners will probably report you as spam and delete your comment.

    It is really terrible to spam. The blog comments are meant for us to leave feedback and suggestions and it is also a way for us to interact between the blog owners and visitors. Never should we misuse the function.

    SPAM? BAD
    Concentrate on HOW TO PRESENT/SAY will help you to avoid yourself doing spam'ng unknowingly.

    Most of the website promoters get involved in spam without their knowledge when they can't figure out how and where to comment.

    comment should be relative to your website content, or don't comment, if you wish to get points.

    Make sure to always put a relevant comment. If you post a good comments, it will increase the chance the blog owner has in accepting your comment.

    SPAM = BAD , period

    Spam is what gets you banned, blacklisted and de-indexed.

    Any form of spam (except of course for that canned meat) is bad - forum posting spam, email spam, blog comment spam, etc. If you spam blog comments then most likely it will just get filtered. Blog commenting is effective but make sure the comments are legit so they don't get filtered and people will actually read your comment and be interested in your link.
