Best way to wifi my printer from laptop?

    I am in need of the best way to print articles from my laptop to a Canon MP830 printer I already own. There is no network input on the printer but it does have a USB slot on the front of the printer.

    The printer is a combination fax, scanner, printer and I use all features regularly.

    I do not want to use cables but prefer to just wifi or blue tooth to the printer and have it print docs.

    I already have a Linksys LB5100 wireless router I use to get internet acess for our laptops.

    I read several reviews but it seems like there are very few new products available that provide good wifi printing. I sure appreciate anybody's help that will research my situation and the printer I am using to help me buy the best server (?) or whatever to get this to work.

    If you've got a desktop computer plugged into the router, then you should be able to use plain ol' printer sharing through your network. Sounds like you're running free with laptops though.

    Why not just walk over to the printer and plug your lappy in when you need to print?

    Probably. Try Whirlpool, it's an Australian forum, there are network geeks running all over the place :)
