Doubt about Title Tags

    HI,
    I'm a new about SEO guys. Can i use word like:" in, on, for, and, at" in the Meta Title tags? Is it good for SEO or not?. Kindly suggest.

    You can use it. but you should include keywords for which you want to optimize your site.

    The two tags that are important for ranking are title and descriptions. Most search engines (especially Google) use to them ascertain the nature of the page in tandem with the keywords on the web page. So use it judiciously.

    common words like a, in, at, are generally not useful in meta tags on their own but if they are part of a keyword like, "Get Out Of Debt" then that is fine.

    The less prepositions the better for SEO...For instance my blog is called bestforblogger...And I promote this key phrase!

    (in, on, for, and, at, in)
    This all words are "stop-words" in SEO........
    But u can use only "one or two" stop-words in meta Title.........

    NO they are not gonna harm your rankings if you use them specifically. Use them properly to make ur target more attractive and relevant to your page. They shud look like part of your title tag. In single line use them geniuenly.............................

    They will not harm your rankings if you use them, but i was always under the impression not to optimise for common words such as , in, and , the. Just on thought that Google and Other SE ignored them.
