On-Site Articles Optimized for Each Long Tail Term???

I have found the bulk of my long tail terms (possibly 200+) from Analytics.

Is it wise to create pages for each of these terms, with a keyword rich article on the page? And an order button and possibly some sales material?

    Is this a smart move?

Yes one page per keyword would be a smart move. Make the title of the page the keyword.

Many times your list of keywords includes many that are basically the same and don't need multiple pages. For instance: Dentist, Dentistry and Dental could all have one page. Your title could include all these terms as mtime88 suggested.

Omidall. I guess that sort of illustrates my question -- should I try to clump like-terms on a page, or make them all separate? Is it ideal to separate them?

If you're already ranking for the terms I wouldn't separate them into more pages. Just do some link building for the terms to bring your SERPs up.

If you have some long tail where you rank in the 20s and are getting hits then it might be worth it to build a page for that term since people are drilling all the way to your site to find the info.

    Alright!

So it sounds like you've got a great idea going for ya! The one thing I'm worried about, would be the fact that your keywords may tend to compete with each other and nullify each others properties if they all remain within the same page.

It would be wise for you to consider using 1-4 keywords (or keyword phrases) per page; incorporating those keywords (or keyword phrases) into your title and description meta tags.

Best-of-luck to you! I hope that you gain all of the traffic you need, with as little effort as possible.

If you're making a page for every keyword, you're gonna have difficulty writing unique content for every page. Either way, you're going to have to dedicate a lot of time rewriting, or trouble avoiding duplicate content, for instance you may receive traffic for 2 similar terms such as:
    wooden door frame repair
how to repair wooden door frames

But what would be the point of making a unique page for both?

VERY good point! :D I apologize for overlooking that! NOTE: One of the most IMPORTANT methods, of SEO monetization, is optimizing your domain name as well. Don't overlook that!

For example, you could have a specific long-tail phrase such as: how to feed rabbits

There are multiple ways you could monetize your domain name with this ALONE! (Preferably with a .COM)

    Examples:

    how-to-feed-rabbits.com
    learn-howtofeedrabbits.com
    howtofeedrabbits.com

^(NOTE: All of the above links contain the phrases, and are all almost completely equal in ability to generate quality PR on google.)

    Hope this helps!

    Best-of-luck! :D

I am trying to find my CORE terms and then focus on about 3 related long tail terms (3 articles) per page.

Clump em all together. Sound like a good idea?

    Example:

Page Title (top bar of internet browser):

Easy Dog Chow | Dog Chow Recipes for Kids | Simple Dog Chow Cookbook

    Body:

1.) Article focusing on Easy Dog Chow
2.) Article focusing on Dog Chow Recipes for Kids
3.) Article focusing on Simple Dog Chow Cookbook

Google realy likes specific pages, so the more keywords you try to target in a page the lower the chances of it getting a good ranking. I'm not saying that you can't get a good ranking, but google likes really speciific pages better.
