how could this be?

I have no problems logging on to my Yahoo mail and Gmail in my computer at home. No problem at all accessing my accounts in other websites like Paypal.

However, when I try to access the same sites in another computer having a different IP, I have this display:

Any idea why is this so? Any advice how to resolve this? I'd appreciate any help on this.

it would work with a different browser..

it is a new security feature in firefox 3 that prevents opening of ssl secured sites with invalid certificate (as the screen says). So, as you see a link in the screenshot, you need to create an exception. It would open then onwards.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, guys! It's okay with IE. Why am I not experiencing this at home then?

maybe you had added an exception at your home pc !

I had faced the same error while logging into my domain cp from a newly formatted pc. but then I added an exception to it and it works fine from then.

its all about some security settings.

Try to clear the cache and everything in your firefox browser which does not load those pages. That might solve your problem!

I assume that's Firefox 3. Just click 'or you can add an exception' then it takes you to a window with a link to yahoo mail, just click add or allow or something. Then it should be fine.

Check your PC date and time too. I had my PC going back to 1970 once and couldn't login to gmail.

Thank you for all the advice, guys! What I don't understand is it suddenly just worked fine even when I didn't add any exception or did anything with my FF 3 browser.

    Anyway, thanks again! :)

Must be with the date and time, could be the reason why the certificate expired making it invalid.
