    Im having some unique articles written for my website, 5 to be exact, should i have anchor text placed in the keywords ? or not, does it matter, not sure about this, helppp.

    Do you mean should you have keywords placed in the anchor text? And yes. The words used in your anchor text will greatily help you rank for those keywords.

    If you are going to place anchor texts in your article, just make sure that it will not look spammy.

    Keywords as anchor text will have an effect in terms of ranking.. so using your targeted KWs as your anchor text links is an advantage over your competitors

    Remember to use multiple keywords over different anchor text. Using the same keyword multiple times might affect negatively.

    its ok to anchor your link to your KW
    but it still depend on the article site you were submitted.

    There are only few article portals where you can place anchor text.

    Sometimes placing the right anchor text is more important than anything else and potentially can get your site to rank better. It’s all about choosing the right keywords to use for your anchor text.

    Even if it's on your own website internal linking is still relevant albeit not as important as external links but still relevant nonetheless.

    Yes, even in your own website it is useful... it is actually part of good website SEO optimization practices...

    Unless you go crazy and start placing the same anchor text link every 10 words, then it may cause more harm than good...

    Thank you all for your valuable input. Question the articles are about 400 words long with about 2% keyword density in each article, my question is how many times in each article should i anchor text my keyword ?, and should i anchor text the title ? whats a good formula for this , im thinking like anchor 3 times per article, but not sure.

    Definitely! But dont overdo it. Just 2 anchor txt with your primary keywords per article
    Anchor txt helps SE to really identy your site thereby giving you the right to rank high in the keywords you deserve

    Somebody told me once "1 keyword anchor text every 300 words". But there is not an exact formula for that, google algorithm is secret so we can only guess... Personally I do it once every 500 words, since I usually use anchor text linking in some other places (like header, footer, etc.).

    Well what i did is anchor text keywords 2 times in the 400 word article, hope thats not over doing, but probally will do fine. Thanks for all your input, lots to learn about SEO.
