PayPal in Pakistan

Being a Pakistani webmaster and not having an option to use Paypal I from time to time keep contacting their support and inquiring about when Paypal will be available to Pakistani webmasters ? . Well this is the reply I got from their support :

Not much I can do just wait for PayPal to allow Pakistani PayPal accounts

 

I am sure they will NOT start their services in Pakistan because of the uncertain economical and political conditions here in Pakistan.

We (Pakistanis) are going nowhere... Thanks to our Politicians.

 

I think, PayPal should not have any problem with this. A lot of companies are already here & making too much from here than anywhere else. Moneybookers, Liberty Serve, Epassport, Alertpay, are working, so, why paypal not

Anyway, now-a-days I am finding many scammers who make frauds by using PayPal, thats why I am disheart from PayPal

 

Paypal should start in Pakistan! Since Pakistan has several banks that have the capabilities to support such a system. Kashif instead of just contacting Paypal i think a more effective move would be to talk to a Bank manager in Pakistan. Give them the idea and i think if a bank manager asks Paypal if they can start in Pakistan then that would be quite effective!

Yea, this is good idea.

But remember, when you contact to any bank manager, you need to be very smart that you can motivate him to contact to paypal. You should write in such a way that he should get inspired of this paypal business. Otherwise he will just skimmed over your email/msg and throw it to trash.

 

Introducing Paypal in Pakistan and talking to a bank manager for this purpose these both things do not seem to work along . I think it is the decision of higher management to introduce another form of payment and I think Govt. of Pakistan has an important role to play for this purpose which I am afraid it will not under the current Political condition !

 

The suggestion is very very nice, but not applicable to Pakistani banks and bank managers.
WHY???

None of the pakistani bank manager is ready to take an extra tension of paypal.
Bank managers are just working in banks they aren't their owners, they just need to cent their time.They don't have anything to do with the improvment or development of their bank network.

Secondly none of pakistani bank managers are aware of online payment processing and internet marketing, because once i got an adsense check i went to my nearest UBL bank and met the accountant about the check, first he got confused about the check,and he said go to the manager, i went up there, the manager checked the cheque and said its a scholarship, we can't cash it here in Pakistani.HAHAHA. I said its not a scholarship it is an adsense check and and it has just to be added to my bank account.Really it took three days of mine to aware them about the process of that bludy check.

I don't say that all of them are bluddy stupid but i must say that they are not good for dealing.

Paypal can only be in Pakistan, if bank owners get in touch to them.

And next time make sure you select Western Union as the option for receiving your adsense earnings

 

I have mentioned that it was my my first case with adsense.I am using Western Union now.


Pakistani Banks are not enough for paypal dealings.Because they are kaam chor.

Glitto! if you are real then! dont disperse your country and its citizens! so then may also you know! that every thing is possible in PAKISTAN! Paypal is just payment processor only

Well all the guys are discussing about the right thing. Paypal is the one of the most powerfull payment processor worldwide. But unfortunately not available for pakistan. Im a paki and we all dont know why they are getting too late here. India is our nearest country and they are all there and we are their neighbours but they are still saying we are trying to expand out business to other countries. They are just trying to do something else. That we dont know. We all want to be paypal users thats the real thing. So, they should have to take a quick notice that what pakistani people are trying to ask them and why? regards!

 

This thread! will do nothing to Paypal! until we all Pakistanis get united and do powerful request by showing them! our business conepts and futuristic plans!

Yes i Agree with you jezz. if we give powerful request to them we will definitely succeed to getting this payment system in our country. if we will sit idol like other Pakistanis , so everyone know better paypal will not come in our country untill 10 to 20 years.
