I purchased a directory listing at BOTW about a week ago. It showed a confirmation page showing the order went through and a message saying it would take 3 days to be listed. I never received an email and the listing never went live. So I email their support a couple days ago to ask if they received my order and got no response. Has anyone else ever experience this? Do they have crappy support and this is normal?
I have never dealt with BOTW as I find their prices inflated, however.... regarding their support I would give them a bit longer to respond given that it was 4th of July yesterday they are probably low on staff during this period.
Something definitely wrong with this directory. I'm trying to apply for their sponsorship advertisement 3 days ago, and it was said my link will be showed in 24 hours. But until now, my link is still not there. Tried to contact them via the help page, and the internal contact form, never got a reply. And now I don't know how to cancel my account, and they will charge me after the free trial expired, while my free trial was never working. Does anybody know any members here work for botw?
Simply cancel the subscription with them and just in case always advise your credit card provider. Be careful with credit cards as companies will try and claim payment even after you cancel. The reason why many companies use this free period is the hope that most people forget after three months that they'll be charged and end up getting unexpected bills. Be careful of their terms as well, especially the way to cancel.. The fact they use 31 days is illegal as not every month has 31 days in it. They can also deny having notification from you even if you sent it, in other words, send them a registered letter to cancel, that way if they do take money from you then you can claim this back from you card company as the request for cancellation can be proved. Be warned, using a credit card online can be dangerous, using a third party like paypal is actually safer than most people think. This is not a slur on botw, there is probably a genuine reason why they haven't got back to you. Both e-mail and land mail is essential in all case of credit card cancellation.
ok, thanks i finally heard back from them. apparently they never received my first submission. i re-submitted and received an email confirmation immediately following. maybe the first submission had a glitch.
