Will google penalise me for this

I have two spare places in my sig for links, so if I add links to my site (same site for all the links) usign diffrent anchor text, will google penalize me for this?

Is there any risk at all, if there is im not going to bother adding my link

Im also part of many other forums which allow more than one link and so I want to add my links to these sites too.

You can make some other siglinks to more deeper pages and no problem mate.

 

what about just to the homepage, or will linking to deeper pages increase page rank more for the main page

 

Why do you want 4 siglinks pointing into your homepage?

You can do this:

siglink 1 - yoursite.com
siglink 2 - yoursite.com/anything.html
siglink 3 - yoursite.com/anothetstuff.html
siglink 4 - yoursite.com/andanotherone.html

This will help to get your site indexed... at least.

 

Just to get more backlinks to my site on the first page to help in its page rank

 

Google will just count the first link and ignore the second, whatever shows up to the bot first, so better doing one to a sub page on your site.

It's pointless linking to the same page twice.

You won't be penalized but you won't get the benefits that you're expecting, neither

 

Google will not penalized you, but if you use the same URL with different anchor text, it will reduce the weight of the links.

 

Linking to subpages will give you the benefit you are looking for.
Dont use the same link text however...

 

it doesnt help much linking the same signature over and over again... point them to different subpages.... it is not penalizing problem but the better way is pointing them to subpages...
