    Hi

I have learned so much from DP. I an new here and with various things I have learned from this great forum I have set up a website. It started showing increase in SE listing and traffic after applying some of the things i learned here. Now I have a different issue. I want to sell ads on my site. I am not really sure what the Price should be for these ads. Is there a general set of rules that applies to the selling of ads on site. I dont want to undersell ( I run @ a loss ) or oversell ( noone would want to buy the adv space ). Any help will be appreciated.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing for my site. I see you have adsense on your site, what is your CPM with adsense? use that as a rough estimate I would guess. Of course I am probably way overpricing ads on my site, I am contemplating going with number of page views that I get each month divided by 1,000 then multiplying that number by the CPM from adsense.

So if I get 100,000 page views per month, I would divide that by 1,000 and get 100; then take my adsense CPM and multiply it by 100 to get a monthly rate estimate. Of course this pricing model could be heavily flawed and will result in a rather high rate for the advertiser.

I too am looking for feedback on a pricing formula.

google analytics shows bounce rates, and it is free. In my opinion it's better than statcounter as far as free tracking options go.

It would be fair to say that this site gets 300-440 visitors per month based on the graphs?

I think your prices are reasonable based on returning visitors; the length of time is key:

    $15/400=0.03
    $15/1,500=0.01

If people see the value in your traffic and feel that it will convert to traffic or sales on their site, than they will pay. If you're marketing yourslf well and no one is bitting, your prices are too high.
