My site About Coolness is now only 5th when I search using the keywords "About Coolness" it used to be 1st. the first time I launched it after 3 days it's already on 1st then sometimes 2nd. but more on the 1st place but today 5th?!? whats happening please help me get back to 1st
It's normal. Newly launched sites sometimes if appears on 1 of the first page but as time passed by, it changes in Serp position. get more backlinks for your site to make it stable in serp ranking.
This good ranking position is achieved by each new site for a small period of time. After that, the page will take its real place in SERPs, meaning it will go down (in most cases). So I think you should keep getting quality backlinks, in order to achieve the hot spots again.
New site has this problem. Don't worry, just keep working on your site and you will remain on top. Your site just need more support in terms of backlinks.
what about old sites guys? I have an old site that was on 2nd or 3rd page of google for keyword mobile phones, now its hardly found on pages 8 to 11
it's because your site is new! Google gives boost to those site that has fresh content. But this boost to ranking is only temporary. I'm pretty sure that your ranking will drop or it may be gone.
May be your competitors started a new SEO strategy and with a help of more relavant texts and link exchange company overwhelmed you.
Dont panic, dude! Its just normal that your SERP goes up and down! Be thankful and grateful coz you're at #1 page at that search term!
competitor? lol my site is about 3weeks old.. and I already have a competitor? wow.. is it really that fast? those on top of me are biggies.. but the top 1 is about my blog though.. it's blog catalog and my blog's detail.
