Can someone show me where in the Quran it says muslims must kill for God or in the name of Alah? After so many suicides in Pakistan, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Russia .............. I tend to believe that the muslim suicides get strong inspiration from the Quran. Suicides systematically kill others in many muslim countries when islamic militants don't agree with their government or others. All those suicides must have strong belief they go to haven when they kill others and themselves. Otherwise it is really, really hard to have a normal person ready to die while killing others. I don't know if any other religion has/creates that problem with suicides and other forms of extreme violence. In most religions the rule is: God gives life, He is the only one Who has the right to take it. Muslims don't seem to believe in it. ST12: Read few verses before the verse that say anything about fighting and few verses afterwards. It will clear you the terms & conditions of fighting. Regarding sucide bombers. You have to research why one commit sucide. Psychologist will be able to answer that more clearly. E.g. Why a VT student start shooting in the campus and then shot himself? Thats almost equalant to sucide bombing. Weapon is different, end result is the same. The most common reason general population in Pakistan can think of is money. People do commit sucide here because of poverty. They even killed whole family with them. So if there family is getting paid for blowing themself in the public, why not. That is sick but its true.
This video from Iraq has a section at the end with the suicide bomber. How he is prepared for his divine mission and how he knows there will be virgins awaiting him after he'd died. It's a pretty well organized brainwash so they are happy to do it. Everything about it makes them feel like they are heroes, they are admired and simply treated with utmost respect. Well the verse to actually kill people was on the back of the book. The authors figured those hardcore enough about it would be eager to find more text. It's in small print near the bottom. Probably will need a magnifying glass.
If shame was put on religion as a whole, it would be finished earlier. Not saying one religion is better than another or that moderate religion is good for some people, no simply making fun of any religious person, because they believe in fairy tales. And the governments who use religion should be defeated by others, secular governments. But that is only a dream
There could be two reasons of you posting this question, here. One is simply for having fun, calling out fellow Muslims on DP etc. .. Other is, you are purely interested in knowing what is truth. If your objective is first one, get it going. Its great for passing time. Its like, your room catch fire and your father asks you to throw water all over the place. And you do. After that, you keep throwing water daily even there is no fire .. thinking that your dad asked you to throw, and forgets that it was a commandment just for that specific situation of fire, and not forever.
