TEST Results -- Kontera with Adsense

I have tested kontera ads in my site with adsense, and i am posting my results here:

first my site traffic is : 60% USA, Canada . 40% Europe and other countries. My site is about Computer Science and Technology.

Despite the high number of clicks that I got which was more than my average Google AdSense clicks, my earnings were simply pathetic! No matter how much I tried to fine tune it, it would not make any difference.

right now i am waiting for 5 Cents so i can take kontera OFF my site and not to use again. (Kontera payout is 100$ Check or Paypal, now i am standing on95.5$).

Adsense pays for 1 click between (0.10$ to 2.80$ "my highest click with adsense).

Kontera pays for 1 click between (0.01$ to 0.05$ "my highest click with Kontera)

my Adsense revenue droped to 40% - 50% because of kontera, its just simple .. sending away visitors for very low earning is very bad decision publisher can do.

Also .. no relevant ads with kontera !! none .. almost all ads are shopping.com, freedictionary.com, etc.

Anyway ... here is my kontera report for the last 36 days : starts from 1st of June 2008 to 6th of July 2008.




I have used Vibrant Media and Adbrite inline ads. i will post soon my results. but so far Adbrite inline ads is doing so well.

 

Wow! eCPM of $0.32 does suck!
My experience has been the exact opposite, which is odd because my niche is very close to yours, yet my results are nearly 10X better - and June as a BAD month! Also, in my testing i never saw a drop in Adsense CTR when using Kontera.


I guess you just need to try everything and keep what works best for your site. If my results were that bad i would move-on to something else too..

Well, I can recommend you.
My earnings from Adsense never conflicted with the earnings from Kontera and i never noticed any drop in GA earnings after implementing Kontera in my sites.

 

I am trying everything, and yes i will keep the best for my site.

even so, your 8,384 clicks with kontera made you 936$ , which is almost 0.10$ per click. i had 2971 Clicks for 99$, which is 0.03$ per click.

Kontera earning is very LOW compared to vibrant or to adbrite inline ads.

 

I have tested Kontera extensively and have not seen a drop in Adsense CTR or revenue.

I agree that ad relevance could be a tad better at times, but Kontera has performed well for the most part.

I agree with Tearabite, if something is not working, then move on to something else.

Yes, well that is $609 more in my pocket. And it has no impact on my Adsense revenue either. Kontera is making me about 10% of my what my Adsense revenue is. As I mentioned, I have tested Kontera extensively and posted my results on another thread.

If you come up with a better supplement to Adsense please let me know! I have applied to Vibrant Media a week or so ago, and have yet to be accepted - I have heard they pay much better per click. Chitika Linx used to perform well, but they have gone down the tubes big time (see Chitika section here).

 

EchoTopic are giving me around 50c a click on my forums.

Hmm, still in a split decision weather to try Kontera out or not. How do they compare with CPXinteractive? I've had some success in the past with them, can anyone here compare the two?

 

What kind of success did you have with CPXinteractive? I checked out all your sigs and did not see any CPXinteractive ads. Are you still using them? If not, why not? Just curious if you has success with them, why you aren't still using them??

 

Those statistics are very good.... I wonder if when can I have such earnings..... though I am doing good with adsense..

 

Since I got banned from AdSense I've been trying loads of programs. I haven't put it back on yet.

 

Some impressive kontera earnings here guys! I havn't even broken the $100 since November last year! However I think some earnings were lost, do you need to make the $100 in a certain time frame, because it's not showing earnings from november anymore.

Konteraa is spammy, ugly, and usually irrelevant. You are better off with the inline ads.
