What is with the free classified sites...

I was wondering, does anyone else use the free classified ad sites? I have been using them for a few months now, but they have yielded very little. In fact the only thing I get from a free classifed in terms of traffic, come from CraigsList.com. Then I got to thinking about it. Who really goes to those sites looking for anything? I have never once said "Oh I need something, let me see if it is on *free classified ads*.com". I normally go to CraigsList, ebay or google. So what are your thoughts, Are there any that are successfull? Or should I just focus on CL.

 

I think the only benefit for free classified sites is to generate backlinks for search engine ranking.

The one I constantly post my ads on is www.cleverposter.com . They keep ads for about two years and then they remove them.

I seem to get more traffic to my sites every time I post a new ad on www.cleverposter.com .
