WTS: Debate/Discussion Community Forum with OWNED vBULLETIN and vBSEO!

I am selling this forum because I no longer have the time to keep this forum running at its best. It's a great, diverse community who is certainly not afraid to fight for their side on the debate. It's a lot of fun, but I just don't have the time to keep up with it. I really believe that this forum would be much more prosperous with someone else who has the time that an alive community like this requires. The URL is http://www.puretalkforum.com.

FORUM BACKGROUND:

Opened in December of 2006 with a few members as a general forum to talk about "anything." With growth, it converted itself into a debate/current events forum. Today we're known for our headed arguments on sensitive topics such as same sex marriage, evolution vs. creation, abortion, etc; as well as some in-depth discussions that really make you think. The members have a lot of fun arguing their opinions. We have several members who have been with us since the beginning and are still active.

Countless hours and money has been put into the site in the past with advertising, directories, etc. All of this work has earned the site the following impressive statistics.

Pagerank: 2 (expected to go up at next update)

Indexed pages (Yahoo): 10,233
dnScoop estimates the value of the site at $6,466!
Sitestimator estimates the value of the site at $3,978.65!

REVENUE:

Revenue is earned through advertisements and VIP subscriptions. VIP subscriptions have brought us in around $70 since they were started. We use two ad networks: AdsDaq and AdSense. With just the ads, we earned $65.56 in April-June (see screenshots below). With better placement and with a little time, I'm positive this amount will go up significantly. I just don't have the time to fiddle with it.





OTHER FORUM FEATURES:
PureTalkForum.com also has FlashChat (for live chatting), ibproarcade with 769 games installed (and more waiting to be installed), Wordpress blog (for announcements), and misc. modifications.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
The winner will receive the domain name (puretalkforum.com), the site's files and database, the vBulletin/vBSEO license, the PSDs to the custom images, all rights to the site's content/name. I can host you for a month or two until you transfer all of the site to your own host.

REQUIREMENTS:
You will be required to take care of the site and be the new site administrator. This site will fit comfortably on shared hosting.

Nice forum but the Bin is WAY too high and I think it's value is max $600.

I just lowered the bin. I don't think it's too high, however. I mean, it really does have a lot of potential if someone has some time. We'll just have to see.

I might also note that last year I was offered $800 for the site (and it wasn't even up for sale). It is a lot better than it was now so I know I can get more than $800 for it. Also, I'm in absolutely no rush to sell this site, so it will not be sold for a penny less than what it's worth.

Dead? There's never a day without any good posts.

I mean, if you leave the site will pretty much fall apart right? You hold 1/7(~15%) of the posts, and 7 members made half the forums posts....and they're staff members so if you leave who's to say they wont follow suit? Then the site'll be deader than it already is.

Was there a big fight on the forums or something? I noticed a lot of the top member left in around May what happened?

Paid posters were used for about 1000 posts a long time ago, but the rest are all real. What do you mean they're all staff members?? There is only one other staff member besides me!

No, there was no fight and I don't know what you're talking about the May thing. And, no, the site won't be deader than it already is. The purpose of selling it is to bring new life into it. I am trying to sell it to someone who will nurture it and grow it.

I meant look at the top members of the forums and see that they're al staff members, and the rest of the top posters stopped posting around May for some reason. I'm was seriously interested, else why would I be posting these questions? No need to be rude. Look at my profile, at my previous posts and youll see Ive been looking for a debate forums for quite sometime.

OK. Excuse me, but I wasn't sure what you meant by "real members." (For some reason I was thinking "bots.")

The only top poster that I can see (and remember) that left is "knoxbox." He was a great member...even had a VIP membership (and still does). I'm not sure why he suddenly left one day. No one knows. Which other top posters do you see that have left?
