What kind of action can be taken against the site? If a site is in a diffrent language but has warez (not hosted, but linked) say if i own one of those softwares, what can i do? Isn't easier since its in the US to take care of them easier?
    Thanks, SP360

You can report that site to it's hosting. The host will take down the site immediately.

You should try contacting the host and sending a DMCA. If that doesn't work and if you have sufficient means you can consider legal action against them in civil court.

Even though all the advice is correct, the chances are like 1 to 1000000 you can ever hurt them. The most effective way is to contact the owner and kindly ask them to remove your software.

Well, yea almost all the advices are pretty effective unless the same people also run their hosting services =/ (I guess that leads to the data center)

If none above works well.. you can always contact agencies to take legal actions against them

If small software developers contact me (in a nice way) requesting for their software to be removed, I gladly do so and write back.

Best way to get rid of warez is to contact the datacenter directly. If you need help doing this, send me a PM and I can direct you. Best way to initiate this is to do a trace route on the IP, find out the datacenter and CALL them. Alot of DC's will blow off emails, but if you call them it shows a sense of seriousness and urgency.

But that is only if the files are being hosted, not linked.

Edit: had to update my post since I didn't "read" lol.
