Is it a good idea to start building links and submitting articles even though my website is under construction ? and my domain name is 3 days old and not indexed yet ?.

Most directories, article sites, etc won't accept a site that isn't finished. Block all search engines via the robots.txt file and finish the site before doing anything; that is what I always do.

dont have a robot txt file, and dont know how to make one. I would say my site would be complete in the next week to 10 days. Well i see you do seo, how much would you charge me to do my meta tags, and make me a robot txt file ?

Make a notepad file called: robots.txt

    Add the following...

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

    Code (markup):
upload it to your root directory of your web sites, when the site is done remove the "/" and your good to go indexing wise. Contact me via PM if your interested in SEO services, monthly or one-time; can't talk about it in this section.

I stat building links as soon as I have a domain. You can redirect them to basically anywhere until the site is completed. I have a new SEO website being launched soon. So I redirected the traffic to another SEO site that I have. So by the time the site goes live it will have about 500 relevant links. I can't tell you enough what a huge advantage this is.

The first site I launched had 1400 links the day it went live and zoomed to the first page within 3 days and has been there ever since.

    Good luck!

I think it's just a waste of time for building links since the site is under construction. Wait for your site to be live before building links.

My site is live, it just need more products uploaded and few graphic tweaks, i believe building links before hand is good thing, maybe keep you out of the dreaded sandbox.

What's the rush? I know we all want to make money in the fatest possible time but my advice is to take your time over the content before you launch. If you hurry, then visitors get pretty bred with an unfished site and are likely to stay away in the future. Better to get your content just as you want it and then launch even if it takes an extra month or 2
