Hey guys are you aware of any list for niche topics? I am thinking of starting 10 sites just dedicated to niche topics. Right now my websites get me a dismal $0.10 per click :( .... Any help would be highly appreciated :D

I would definitely go for Forex niche if I have the time. I heard it has high CTR but then I think it would be better off if you just concentrate on making money from affiliates rather than PPC ads when in this niche

Guys, why you always forget the simple stuff?

    The world enjoys:

    cars
    restaurants
    medicine
    knifes
    cats
    pills
    chairs
    tvs
    old papers
    doors
    wood
    plastic
    etc etc
    etc

Why are you always looking after the same old story? Why dont you realize there is a lot of cash to be made in niches just like the ones i defined above?

Jesus christ... In a few weeks, you'll come here crying... "ahhh too much competition" , "aahh i cant get top 500"... "why i dont get any traffic?"

Let it go. Search other niches.

People love old chairs. Even if there isnt old chairs adverts at your site, the people that visits it will click on it. Why? Because it's a relaxed way of surfing the web. Old people... Chairs... Sees an advert of Holidays, or medicine, etc, and they will click on it.

Change your way of looking at Adsense, otherwise, you're so in trouble :)

If it were so simple to simply pick some high-paying niches and build some web sites and get rich with Adsense, we would ALL be doing it. Sure there are high-paying niches but you have to ask yourself, why are they high paying? Because there's a LOT of competing web sites bidding on those same Adword keywords, driving the prices up. If you build a website about that niche for the same keywords, you put yourself at the bottom of the list of all those websites competing for the same popular keywords. It takes lots of work, time, patience, skill, more time, more work, and lot of luck to be able to climb out of that competition and get yourself ranked by search engines. Which means you won't easily get the traffic necessary to make money. There's always a catch. I would rather make money on lower-paying less-competitive niches where I have a chance at getting some decent traffic.

Read my signature for a list.

There is nothing wrong with choosing a niche based upon potential revenue. "Real world" businessmen make these choices every day. Why shouldn't you/ we?

    Good luck.

SHHHHH....Your giving away too much info :) If the average human learns to think outside the box, the rest of us will be in trouble.

Try the office products and education niches. The CTRs have been pretty high for me in these niches.

Know what? You're right :) Besides, even if 10.000 guys came here and tell these kids this info was "the special one" they still will want to play games in Forex etc etc :D

What is worse, is guys who know NOTHING about the topic, and just because it pays high, they start a website on that topic.

Some go to the extent of copying from other sites to generate most of their content. There's many forms of this practice going on...

And then you get people running here crying and complaining why they got penalized.
