$25 - A Range of Small Simple Buttons - QUICK CONTEST

Discussion in 'Design Contests' started by projectWORD, Jul 5, 2008.

    Hello,
I am looking for a range of simple buttons. These buttons will be given to people to put on their website to refer back to mine.

Obviously, one button won't appeal to every user so I ask for a range of simple buttons (Im not looking for lots of designs, maybe a few with different colour schemes).

Information on sizes can be seen here.
    http://www.simplygraphix.com/banners_sizes.html
The sizes I was thinking was Button1, Button2, Microbutton, Half banner

I want the button to let people know that a paticular website is a part of my website. So text may be "find us at..." or "part of...".

    My website is at http://www.projectword.co.uk.

Payment Via Paypal. Closes JULY 7th

    Hi TightWad,
Good Stuff. I quite like the top one. Very good. I would like at least one of them to have a little message like, "find us at... projectWORD" or "part of.. projectWORD" or something like that.

    Hi,
Yeah, if you click at the top left on the logo you can change the color of the site. I suppose one of those could be used. The orange and the green are pretty much staying on the site but the other 3 are not definate, so yeah, use whatever colors you choose then I would change the website accordingly if anything great came up.

    Thanks money lizard.
I like the text because it stands out well. Im not too sure about how it fits in with the logo on the left though. I think my logo is a bit pants but am planning on changing it. So as I say about the colours, the logo is also not indispensible and doesnt always have to be included.
    Whatever you think

Thank again tightwad, I like the fact you were thinking a bit out of the box but I think it is a bit busy for me.
Use simple, easy to read text, choose colours if you need and chop the logo if you need.

Nice, came across as much better. I think the bottom one should maybe have that bar going completey across from one side to the other. But yes Excellent. How easy is it to apply these designs to a small or larger size? How easy is it to change the colours.

    :)

Good Stuff, the background works well. My mind is telling me the background should be different at the top than the bottom, maybe a continuation of the separting line. Im not too sure about the font at the bottom either. Definately has potential though. I like to colours and concept

As for smaller designs - the 120x90 will work but formatting will be lost on
    the 88x31 buttons
