Woah .... i wouldn't call them great. Greatness is not the same as likeability.

Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter.. Hands down two of the greatest Presidents of my time. (Nixon, Ford, Regan, Bush, and Bush).
Two guys that actually cared about everyone in America, and others around the world..not just a privileged few.
When they spoke, I believed what they are saying, because they were thorough in their explanations.

Some people just carry themselves in a trustworthy manor, and others always act as if they are hiding something, as if the American people are idiots.

These two men spoke to us, and not at us.

Which do you admire more, the way he expresses his antisemitic views or the way he had his political opponents arrested on made up charges and personally declared him guilty in the middle of his "trial"?

Was it Carters economic plan, handling of Iran, or giving away the Panama Canal that won you over?

I know for Clinton it had to be the high Moral Fiber.

The economy was going to suck who ever was president. Ford and Nixon saw to that. Screw the Panama Canal, we don't need it. Besides Regan's Buddy Noriega Needed that Canal to flood the U.S. with cocaine during the "Just Say No" years.

As far as Clinton's moral fiber, the fact that he was ambushed in an unrelated matter and questioned about his personal life was trashy. Name me one man who hasn't, or wouldn't get a BJ in the oval office, and I will show you an ugly smelly President.

Second, I would have rather had Clinton signing the Constitution, at least Blacks would have been included.

I'm glad also Regan straightened out the economy.

Why should the President have morals?

I think Clinton looks out for Clinton.

I am glad we agree on Reagan and Clinton working out the economy. They were much better than the Bush's and Carter.

I agree the first five were great as well. I wish McCain and Obama had the same Moral Standards. Well I guess McCain doesn't flip flop as much as Obama but regardless they are not as good as the first five.

Adultery is not a trait I see in Obama or McCain. They are for the family.

I chose him probably more for what he did prior to becoming President. He was a great man. But it is hard for me to reconcile how such a great and principled man could own slaves. As George Carlin used to say "our country was founded by rich slave owners who wanted to be free". It's a hard one to wrap your head around and I guess it serves as another example of how pliable moral truth is given the times and culture.

A lot of people owned slaves. The one positive aspect of American slavery is that we have alot of great Americans that otherwise would never be here. I think it's wrong to own another human being but slavery has been around for thousands of years and will always be here. Washington was a great leader that help mold the country we have today.

But Obama will still be better than all of them.
Except of course the founding fathers.
