How does that look netsavy? I have the color selector up for publishers. It will let you choose a color for the border, background, title, text, and url. You can select from a color picker, or enter your own hex color code. If the colors are too similar (ex: red on red), then the site will automatically scale your selected color to the nearest shade that is clearly visible.

Take a look if you have time. I appreciate your suggestions, and I think this add-on will benefit the site a whole lot.

I really like it TextAdMarket, now all I need is the traffic to make the cpd thing sucessful. I only get around 7,500 pageviews a month right now. Don't know if it's "worth" it for the moment, but when my site grows I'll be sure to add the ads...

7,500 is a decent amount. CPD is definitely more beneficial for larger sites. Yours may be borderline at the moment.

You'll have to try out my PPC program shortly. I've been coding it for the last couple of days. It ran great on all of my test trials this evening after some minor modifications. Tomorrow I still need to add another security script, and I hope to release it shortly after. The PPC program will charge advertisers a minimum of $0.06 /click, and campaigns with the highest click bid will be given priority. The same 20% commission and 80% to publishers rate still goes.

5,000 uniques is amazing! You'll be at the top of the list for sure. Assuming it isn't an illegal movies, torrent, or warez type site :)

Alright guys, the new PPC ad network is now live! You can create PPC ads in your TextAdMarket control panel now. It is a really great system, IMO, and I can't wait to get this started.

Right now, I'm gonna catch up on some much needed sleep, and then I'll start promoting the new PPC network tomorrow. Once advertisers start putting funds into PPC ads, your blank ad space will be a thing of the past. TextAdMarket should be the best of both worlds now. PPC ads and CPD ads in perfect harmony.

Excellent review justo! Very honest and fair, and I love the screenshot gallery.

I'd like to address one issue you pointed out:

I don't know if I detailed this in TextAdMarket's help section, but if your ad isn't being displayed (i.e. the publisher took the ad code down) you will be given a pro-rated refund after 3 days. If the publisher's site goes down for just a single day, that day will not count towards your days of purchased advertising.

You also mentioned that you didn't know where your ad was going to be placed. On the ad detail page, such as this http://www.textadmarket.com/buy_details.php?id=263 the publisher gives an "adspot description" to help you find where the banner will be placed. Also, you can click on the publisher's site screenshot or link to be taken directly to their website. This allows you to find the banner on their page before you buy. Some site's will put the banner behind "member only" pages, where you can't find them, so it is up to you whether to risk buying before seeing a banner in action. But, stats will still be recorded, and you will still get an automatic refund if the ad doesn't show.

Excellent review. I liked your idea of the javascript "see as you type" ad creation, along with character limits using javascript. I've added that to my to-do list. Thanks justo!! Is there a "Part 2: Publisher's Side Coming"?

You're right about the refund, I missed that (and I noticed you already credited my account, that wasn't necessary but thanks) and will add a point about your refund policy.

Concerning the ad spot description, on goldfiles.com it lists what section of the websites content the ad will appear in, the games section, but doesn't indicate where within the layout of the page the ad will go. I still think your publishers will be able to get some higher prices out advertisers if you indicate a specific ad will go above the fold. In the case of goldfiles.com there are two ad blocks, the higher one which would be of more value to an advertiser remains unfilled while the ad block in the footer seems to be getting ads filled first. It's not a huge issue since the advertiser can go and see the site first and look for the ad blocks to see where the ads will go but if it's run-of-site they may lose interest before they find the ad block they will be going into, and in the goldfiles.com case an advertiser would not be sure which of the two blocks they would go into.

I actually didn't issue a refund. It was the script I wrote that determines whether or not your ads were showing. I bet that gamers site you bought an ad on took down their code. Haha, and they thought they could just make a sale and then take down the code. Tsk Tsk.

I like this idea and the look of the website. Normally it cost $35 to get a review on my blog. Since I like this website, I will do a review and promote it.

Look for an pm from me soon.
