Hi.. Two days before, I added my bank account to my paypal account.. All the information would be valid and legit.. I believe that bank accounts can verify paypal account.. But today when I logged in, it says my account is limited..

But hey.. I issued a bank withdrawal two days back.. It says that the bank transfer is complete.. does this mean I can go and recieve the money from the bank right now?
Damn.. Im so frustrated about this limitation.. I wonder why the HELL they limited my account.

Now in the resolution center, they are asking me to add a credit card..

    Please help.

Verification through bank accounts never worked for me either. I guess the only way for us is through credit cards !

for Indian paypal members, you can only verify using a credit card. the verification by bank account can be done if you are from the US, Australia, UK or germany.

    Hello

If you transfer is status is reflected as "completed" then you will be received your payment within next 7 Business days, you are luck because in most of the cases paypal also reverses the withdrawl and limit the account with keeping your money on hold.

my suggestion would be to close your account since it is very difficult to deal with paypal if you are a service provider, website developer because for paypal it is easy to deal with merchants who sell tangible products and can present records like tracking slip or code of product anytime to paypal .

It is possible that you hit a receiving limit and you need to add your credit card to get your account verified. Just add your credit card, there is NO way around it. If you do not have one, get one from your bank, make sure it is an International Credit Card. Make sure that you are not using a personal paypal account too. It has to be a premier account if you use it for business.

They are required by law to 'Know Their Customer' by requesting for your photo ID, get your credit card verified and so on. This is to prevent money laundering and fraud through their system which are very serious crime.

Official, you are not supposed to open another account if one of your account is limited as it is prohibited by Paypal.

No, you cannot move the money out of your limited account to any other account, now or ever. The only thing you could do is to withdraw the money from the limited account after 180 days and that is only to a bank or credit card. The account would still be limited.

Limited accounts typically means it cannot be used for any transfer of money, in or out of the account.

It is not without any basic reason. The reasons are there but you just do not want to accept it.

Your account is UNVERIFIED as you will need to add a credit card and then complete the expander use program. This allows them to trust you and that you provide real information. That should be reason enough.

The credit card should be issued from the country you sign up from.

Now when they find out that you have opened a second account you will no only be limited but banned from paypal - for good -

You need to put a credit on your paypal account that was limited and they will lift the limit, go get one from your bank, use your parents, whatever -

This is a perfect example of why paypal is such a pain in the a** to deal with - it's like everyone who is put in jail, they all say "I'm innocent!"

Damn.. Im so damn pissed off with Paypal.. today When I checked the status of my bank withdrawal (5000 rs) it said 'reversed'.. but yesterday, it said that the transfer has been 'completed' .. :| And now my account is locked with 200+$ .. I wonder how much money will Paypal eat from its customers monthly.. I wonder why they have doubt on my address.. My account address and bank address would match, why don't they ring up the bank and ask whether anyone named 'Hussain shinan' from (address) has opened an account there.. And all the money I collect is legit.. I earn it by designing logos, layouts, banners, installing scripts, etc.. on the internet.. Can anyone tell me another good payment processing system ? An online one.. Rather than AlertPay.. AlertPay doesn't accept Indian banks.. Paypal sucks big time!!

Why don't you just add your credit card and get your account verified. It is that simple. Why are you avoiding this ? I mean what do you have to hide ? If you want paypal to deal with you, you need to make sure that you give paypal a reason to trust you. Verification is the only way and it has to be done via a credit card.

When paypal makes the transfer request, it would show as 'complete', it would be reversed if your bank rejects the incoming money. Make sure that all your routing numbers are correct.
