Well written, but incomplete and needs some more stuff ;)

You should add those scam proofing and scammer proofing tips, which have been suggested earlier. Also a few tips on how to choose contests where the contest holder actually is likely to see the contest through and give the prize to a Real Genuine designer [Not a duplicate account].

True, but don't extremely cheap contests promote the use of copyrighted material? At least contests with higher prices have some original designs but with most very cheap contests almost all entries are images found using Google with the text pasted on top of it.

I agree with you. That's the risk that those cheap contests holders will get. As for those designers who continue to rip off and steal others idea will not get in business for long. :)

Sorry guys, been away from the forum for a while due to moving all my stuff over to a new PC. Thankyou for all the positive responses on my guides, I'm glad that they are helping out :)

That's a great point l3fty! Watermarking is definitely advisable, particularly where the contest holder has 0 or minimal iTrader points. The Unfortunately its not letting me edit the actual main post so for now I cant add it on there. However if I can get in contact with a mod, I will try and add that on the list!

If anybody has good relations with a moderator/admin, I would really appreciate you requesting the sticky for these. Or if you could advise me who to contact, that would be excellent.
