It is so sad to see this injustice being done against the Palestinians, and the whole world does nothing but watch the brutal occupation in silence. :( It is true, history is written by the victors. Palestinians have always been demonized as extremists and terrorists by the israeli-sponsored media and PR firms. I don't know when this injustice would end. :(

Perhaps if they stopped the terrorism they would be more sympathetic.

Today is the anniversary of the Palestinian hijacking of an French airline which departed from Israel with hundreds of innocent people.

The Palestinians seem to want to be seen as a peaceful movement, but can't help themselves from acting like terrorists.

I would like nothing more than to see the Palestinians take a non-violent approach to their concerns. The world would have little choice but to back their aspirations to live in a free and democratic Palestine. I would love to see that outcome.

The non-violent approach did work for the great republican civil rights activist Martin Luther King JR.

Do you see the irony in your calling MLK a great civil rights leader when you started a thread saying how great the late Senator Helms was who fought vociferously against an MLK holiday celebrating his civil rights accomplishments for America?

Are you implying Mr. King was not great? Martin Luther King was great. Civil rights accomplishments achieved by Mr. King were incredible. And let's not forget the way he did it. Peaceful. How can you even argue with that?

No, quite the opposite. I am suggesting that Senator Helms opposition to an MLK holiday was less than impressive as is your admiration of Senator Helms.

I don't know about you, but I have the capacity to remember your posts on more than one thread.

When they are totally inconsistent, I may chose to point it out.

A non-violent approach is the only approach that will work. To sit down and talk and then develop a friendship will provide peace.

I neither agree with the dude nor with his opinion.

( Ilan Pappé is a predominant supporter of the One State Solution envisaging one state for Palestinians and Israelis. He is known for his anti-Zionist opinions... )

Many nations that were at war have developed a peaceful resolution. There will be no solution until everyone sits down for real talks.

true, and its true that many nations that developed peace been invaded by nations that benefit from wars, either the wolf stop being a wolf or the sheep stop being a sheep, but it would be ridiculous if the wolf cried (terrorist) if the sheep kicked his balls when the wolf's paws are deep inside the sheep.
