I have a daughter who is 4 years old.
I love her so much and she acts out, but I rarely get annoyed with her.
I'm just too happy having her for a daughter to mind the tantrums or the crying when it happens.

I've noticed other parents are different though.
I see lots of parents getting really pissed off at their kids for their disobedience.

I believe to be a good parent, you need to separate emotion from discipline.
I think too many parents discipline their children in the midst of their anger and frustration.
I don't feel that's true discipline. I think it is more for the parent's benefit of releasing their anger, than it is for the child's benefit of learning right from wrong.

    It's both.

When they're that young, they don't know any better. But as they get older....

My son knows when I get mad - I let him know it. There's nothing wrong in a kid seeing you get mad. It's ok for him to get mad at me too. I rarely stay mad for more than a couple of minutes. When I do get *that* mad, I send him to his room and I go to mine. And believe me, it does happen now and then.

having a baby is a very exciting part of my life. i have 9months old baby daughter, and i feel that having a baby is completed my life, because, You can change your wife, but you can change your baby no matter what happen.

I would assume that it would be exciting at first when everything is fresh and new... then as the redundancy & challenges of taking care of the baby piles up, it will turn into annoyance :p Just a guess!

    Annoying for me ....

    Crying, crying, all night long.
    And these are small problems.
    I know it from neighbours.

When the baby/child is getting older.
Your problems are also getting harder.

    (sex, drugs, fighting, .......)

    So ...

    Small childs, small problems
    bigger kids, bigger problems

    :D

And I will not be suprised that you get less love
from your wife. Because the most important thing next, is her kid.

A women prefers first to quit with her husband
    than instead her kid.

I've seen these situations to much !!

If you know a women, that thinks otherwise
and gives the most love on her husband, instead of her kid,
let her contact me. (I'm 31 years old) hehehe :D

    Sorry !!

    Jason :p:p

Its both exciting and annoying. Exciting because you spend a lot of good time with the kids and they really make you happy and give you true love. Annoying because they sometimes don't listen to you and give you trouble. :D

My father disowned one of my brothers at the age of 16... drug addiction, suicide attempts, heart attack (and at such a young age :() oh, you don't even want to know. The story is so gruesome. :)
