I have this blog, www[/url][dot]easyclosetorganizer[dot]com. For some reason though my header doesn't load on my computer that's running ie7. It works in firefox though. Any suggestions? Also, if you review my site, please know that I intend to change some of the ads so they're not all the same advertiser. (I'm waiting for approval from the other sponsers) Thanks!
validation of XHTML (33 errors) and CSS (6 errors) is great for fixing display issues consider reducing the number of ads (one column is really enough). It causes the page to load more slowly and having too many ads turns off many potential readers. One targeted and carefully placed ad can attract far more conversions than many ads all over the place. Visit several of your favorite websites and watch what grabs your eyes and what they use to help drive conversions. Enable gzip compression to speed up page load times (dialup is at more than 40 seconds right now). in FF3 the links for posting to social media line up top to bottom instead of next to each other. You are probably just missing the "inline" attribute in your CSS pictures! do something to break up the raw text, callouts, pictures, bullet lists, bold text are just some of the ways you can enhance your content to make it more appealing. Internet users don't read like its a book, they look for scannable content Overall, a nice site it looks decent in FF3 but still needs some help in IE7.
most of the websites we see today are not XHTML valid, though it is always betterto check those errors. other than that, your blog looks good.
very true but it doesn't make it any less important. I firmly believe that this can affect your ranking in Google. Not to mention that while most browsers are pretty good about working around errors, you never know when not being up to standard will cause unexpected issues.
sorry I should have quoted that user . The articles guy posted the same comment to a bunch of threads just trying to get his post count up. I found it annoying.
no prob. you made me double check because it made me wonder if I DID post it in more threads which I try to avoid on the same forum.
