In Google one minute out the next! then back again lol

Hi all, I have a fair few sites and over the past few months I have had some websites completey disappear from google serps and then re-appear again after a few months in fairly good positions? its very odd as I havnt done anything or updated them etc
has anyone else noticed sites being completely kicked from the serps and jump back again? its not as if my sites were banned etc.
First time I have noticed this type of thing to happen.

i am out of the index with one of my sites. actually...not out of the index, but page 50+. Let's hope I'll be back.

 

Sudden changes in Google's algorithm and datacenter are factors why all this things are happening.

 

It could be the sandbox effect too.

 

Yeah - this sort of behaviour is common with new websites which jump in and out of the google index and it can also happen to established ones.

 

well I own a good number of sites too and i keep the sitemap updated and nothing happend to me that thing.

 

happens with free blogs very often. indexing fast and then, deindexing for a couple of days/weeks.

 

I think out of any search engine to list your site at, Google has to be at the top of the list. If you only could pick one search engine to be on, spending time to get on Google is worth it.

 

Its just that google is dancing, dont worry, your site will hopefully settle soon... *amen*

 

google always makes change, updates etc. so thats could be one reason.

 

I have the same thing with my old-good website. 2 months site was in google top10 and last week was kicked to 800+ position. How long should I wait before my website returned back to top?

 

Really? Cuz I was kind of debating... you know? I think Jeeves, or maybe my friend's search engine might be best... I can only pick one... so, we'll see.
