I just wrote a few articles about my niche and I was wondering if I should make a landing page or just send right to my page that is forwarded to my hop before I submit to Ezines?
I suggest making a landing page. From what I have read forwarding directly to a hop link is not allowed on most article sites. Plus a landing page isn't that hard to make.
While hop links are usually not allowed in the body of the articles, they are usually allowed in the ressource box....
No need for software... Sign up for Squidoo and set up a simple straight-to-the-point lens about your product...
Alternatively, you could submit to GoArticles.... I think they still allow direct hoplinks in your resource box.
Of course, just check out the articles on EzineArticles.com, half of them have hyperlinked phrases in ther ressource box...
Yes, you can submit them into ezinearticles and other article directories to get search engine ranking and back links.
Ezinearticles is quite strict on affiliate links and what is allowed by them. Their rules are in full at: ezinearticles.com/editorial-guidelines.html
A landing page is the best choice. Most article directories don't allow a direct link. Rather than waste time figuring out who allows what, create a landing page and then you don't have to worry about it.
I would suggest that you direct them to a landing page of your own. It can be a simple squidoo lens or blogger blog. The reason is that you want to presell them on the product before sending them on to the merchant page. You need to keep you article short and to the point. You don't want to lose their attention there and have them not follow through. SO, your article is used to get them to your landing page. Give them some hard hitting info and make them want to know more about what you are talking about. Then send them onto your lens or blog. there you can go into more detail about the service or product. You also need to offer them a way to get to the merchant page without having to go through your whole page. If its a specific product, make sure you hyperlink every aspect of it in your landing page. Also have spots at the top and all through out that will let them get to the merchant page. Something like. I WANT THIS PRODUCT NOW hyperlinked. Just make sure that they have options to get to the merchant page often. Adam
With Ezinearticles.com I hyperlink a targeted keyword to my home page and another one to my landing page. This way my visitor chooses where they want to go. Of course my home page has a sign up form on it as well. Building a list on every page is important for long term internet marketing success.
