is that why the only thing on your links is affiliates?? At the end of the day it comes down to where you live etc and the cost of living. K so I live in London and my mortgage is approx $3000 per month so no I could not live on that but someone living in an asian country would think thats a lot ie: $1000 - down to cost of living
whereas I personally earn $1500-$2000 a month. i need to go very high.. that means $65000 within six months.. because I am supporting someone who is in hospital and he needs $150 per day ... i really dont know.. sometimes I am in a fix.. anyways, i shared my feelings for the first time
Yeah, I'd be happy with $1,000 a month coming off webmastering, since I have a real full time job. I'd save up that 1k a month and then work on a bigger site.
$1,000 a month is doable for sure, but not likely, and it's not much money when you think about it. Most people (including people on this forum) can't just have their online efforts are their careers and end up having either another full time job or part time somewhere (for benefits, insurance, ect). Unless you are really doing well with your online stuff, it's foolish not to.
The first two links (arcade script) are for a product I created and link directly to my website, so they're not affiliate links at all. The other two links are sold, one permanently, and the other on a monthly PayPal subscription. I do a little affiliate marketing, but I make more running affiliate programs than I do from promoting other affiliate programs.
in asian countries thats a lot , $1000 = 70,000 in my country so its higher income than an computer engineer lol
i would be extremely happy with $1000 a month cuase i work also ad that would be an extra 12,000 a year cover gas haha
Depending on what you are doing, yes you can reach that goal or more! For me personally, 1k a month online is quite low since I usually make more than that... it's enough to pay the basics: rent and food though.
Who wont be happy with this amount from one website and as you, you can earn this money if you have the right ways and are ready to work hard.
It is ok to live on and basic needs are paid, but to buy extra stuff and what not, you will need to make more!
I think it depends on what your underlying purpose is for making $1,000 a month. Are you looking to make a full-time living online? Or do you just want to generate some spending money? Personally, $1,000 a month would not be nearly enough to live and be self-sufficient, able to support a family, save for the future, etc. But, $1,000 a month in spending money for me would mean I'd go to the store and buy something just because it is there, LOL. Of course, it would have to be something I enjoy. I wouldn't buy golf clubs because I don't play golf. But software, computer stuff, yeah I could easily find a way to spend it on that type of thing!
I use to tell my wife I would be happy if my site(s) brought in $500/month. That was my pinnacle. Well once I hit $500, I wanted a $1000. Once I hit a $1000, I wanted $2000. The cycle is never ending... =)
