Digital Point Forums & The Change It Has Gone Through

I'm not a huge posting frenzy member, but DP has changed quite a lot the past couple of years. Members come and leave, but then, that's a part of all forums.

Regarding this scammer and Indian debate, Gatorate already clarified it, so anyone who reads through the thread fully before making a reply probably won't go, -REP!!!! I see how the wording could imply that, but I know some great Indian people who are awesome buddies and very legit. But, he's just mentioning two facts. There are scammers. There are Indians. Probably better off with the two separated in each sentence but.

 

I haven't been an active member until the last few months so I don't really know the changes that DP has gone through. One thing that I thought when I read the post was not that anyone was discriminating, but why do you even care where people are from? I generally don't even bother to inquire where the people are from that I am providing a service to...

 

Thats exactly right. What the hell we have to do with native of people. For me scammer is of no territory.

you shouldn't put indians and scammers on the same line.
there may be some indians who are scammers but all scammers are not indians!

What does that Scammers and Indians refer to ? You know members like deluxdon, amitpatel, amitbhawani, getjimmy, rohit patel and many other reputed dp members are indians, Think before you speak dude !

Some people are really prone to prejudices borne out of a superiority complex. Gatorade perhaps is one of them. Blaming Indians alongside spammers as the reason for "this forum's decline" is a frustration that's borne out of that prejudice.

 

No offense people, but I'm pretty much with the OP.

Firstly, in the OP, he did not say all indians are spammers... notice the and in between?

You know that Shawn Hogan (owner of DP) is also an Indian.

Not all Indians are scammers. Scammers may be from England, Australia, India, America or any other country. I got scammed by 2 persons. Both were not from India...

 

All you people are misjudging and taking the OP's post in your OWN way.

He did NOT say that Indians ARE SCAMMERS Nor did he say SCAMMERS ARE Indians.

He was referring to that scammers and Indians both have taken over this board. You can tell because of the cheapness of the things on here. Prices fell because of Indians. You see a bit of scammers too popping up, in NO way are the two related.

All of you who thought of racism and prejudice, shame on you to jump the gun and think that way.

BTW the OP is right in every way. I see more Indians than I do of any other nationality. Is it a bad thing? Maybe or maybe not. It depends, its good for buyers, but bad for sellers.

Mr. Gatorade, I think you should think twice before writing something on the forums.
You said that most threads on DP are garbage nowadays, but why did you make a new one that even worst than garbage?
You'd`better make a stupid thread like "Hi, Do You Guys Like Mickey Mouse?" than making one serious thread that hurting many our friend's heart.
You are just a man who came to DP earlier than us, nothing more. Many peon here have better personality than you.
