    Hi Valley

I also don't understand your question?
If you are having problems, have you asked at the forums?
Doesn't really make a lot of sense to ask here.

The server at eSyndicate has been down all day. Simon should have it up and going once he gets up and going. :) He is located in the +6 timezone, so it may be a few hours from now.

eSyndicate sometimes has image verification problems, category selection problems, can't submit etc. These shall be common case, you can find answers on their forum.

    Hi all,
    thanks for the replies.
eSyndicate is a fantastic script but a bit of a niche. I probally just don't have the time to sit down and learn it. A lot of my work I sublet but this is so much of a niche I have struggled to find somone, so hence the post

if you can afford to pay you can get esyndicat team themselves to do any work that you need.

They have done most of the work.
There are some little bits I get lost with like the Google Maps and trying to get the pagerank to work. I like some of the features though like being able to have a file download. Guess I could do with somone part time to look after it really.

It seems there was a mySQL server issue with Meinen Hosts. Wrong usernames etc.
Only had the eSyndicte is working which would explain why it was such a headache

Esyndicat directory software is good for seo.
I've been using them for years and they are good.

    Greetings all,

Just to clarify. Yep, I suppose we know Valley and we really had problems with configuring our scripts on his server. If we check our product page we can see the following requirements:
AFAIK we had to spend several days to fixes for that customer as we had to configure our script for IIS. Of course this could cause additional problems as we did not make a detailed tests for IIS.
Besides, our technical staff is working on +6 timezone so sometimes when you post a ticket you can get reply in the next morning

Now all the problems have been fixed as we moved to a new server

Simon - your guys may respond little late, but your support is much better than lot of other scripts.

    eSynidcat is much better

    Hi Simon,
    hope you are well.

The directory is still not working actualy
You can't add or modify listings.

You are quite right we did have some (quite a lot) problems with the server because we didn't check the script requirements.
In the end we ended up going for a Virtual Server and getting the IIs installed. This was just for you. The actual script required does tend to consume a lot of RAM on the server, and we had a bit of fun allowing it to work with some of the other parts of the site. There are to be three eSyndicate scripts on this site in total as well as the main site.
    This is a big site.
Very costly, the virtual hosting, but that is how much I wanted the eSyndicate installed.
The problems I am experiencing presently just seem to be taking a long time to fix. About a week now, and still not working, I suspect becuase the script was installed on the old server accidentally by the team.
There are some other issues, but I am anxious not to discuss them here after all you have a ticketing system.
The ticketing system itself is probally the weakest area of the company. Every member should have an account and all tickets be stored there until resolved, otherwise the temptation is to reply to an email, rather than reading a thread
All I can say really is that it is a great script, but a very slow turnaround on products. I would love it if there was somone out there with a lot of eSyndicate experience who could work for us on a casual basis.
To give greater control and a fater turnaround. This project was started quite a while ago.
