Not sure if this category is right for my thread or not - anyways! addon domain means multiple site in one hosting package but i don't know files will work? For example, If main site place in the root directory, then by using addon domains do i need to create multiple folders. let say i have 2 sites, 1st : abc.com 2nd : xyz.com and all the files of abc.com r in the root dir. and if i have xyz.com files in root dir. how they will work if both home url is index.html? or i case of addon we need to create folders for each file If u have any site which is using addon plz share ur link.
Hello, If your username is abc, and you have abc.com as your domain domain, and xyz.com as your add-on, then it will be like this: /home/abc/public_html = abc.com /home/abc/public_html/xyz = xyz.com cPanel will automatically create this folder. I hope this helps you, Jay

Not always to do with the budget. If you have 10 sites, and you need to change 1 page on each, do you want to log into 10 cPanels or 10 FTPs? It's far less hassle to have them in one cPanel account, so you can just use one file manager, or one FTP account to change the pages Jay
