Hi, After having my adsense account for a few years it has just been disabled. Luckily for me I wasn't planning on using it much and I just got paid I wonder how many more will get disabled?
It seems google is really doing a house cleaning for "innocent accounts". There were many reports about honest publishers being disabled and the most probable reason for this was that they haven't earned enough $ per month...
No no i dont know this, please dont take this as certain, but in the TOS you are meant to have a privacy policy in place on a site with adsense.
Maybe you should tell us the reasons you might think you got banned for.... will help us a lot And best of luck my friend with whichever other methods you pull up from your pockets to earn some cash.
I got my Privacy policy put in place a couple months ago. But i think I have heard of people getting banned from google for not having one.
Care to tell us the reasons? That's some precious information since alot of AD users are getting banned for... well, nothing.
Some of my sites have a privacy policy..some don't. I haven't been banned. I'd be willing to bet that they're not meeting a minimum amount earned. I make about $600 a month so hopefully that's enough to keep me on the program for a while.
Ive had my adsense account for 5 months and almost made it too $100 (thats total by the way) and never received a payout, simply because i can't be asked to get the pin (different office) for a mere 100 bucks. So i highly doubt that there banning people simply because their account is not used much, and if that were the case surely they would mention it at sign up. It appears that google do this cycle once a month, everyone getting banned around the same time, maybe some sort of automatic system picking up on something *shrugs shoulders*
I know woody, but can you answer some simple question? - did you have privacy policy? - did you breaked TOS? - did you earn some solid income every month, like $70-$100 or $200-$400? - did your site/s had some solid traffic? Maybe the answer to this questions can help.
Privacy policy and terms of use on any website is vital... Especially in the generation we live in today where people sue other people for virtually anything. I think Google is probably trying to cover their butts and keep their "liability" down. It's smart.
Hi, my site is in my sig, I have a privacy policy and I have had my site for 5 years. I average about 1000 unique visitors a month. After 2 months of using adsense I had made approx $200. I'm really not sure how and if I broke TOS, I have sent Google numerous emails albeit guessing at what I may have done, but they do not respond.
Surely this cannnot get your account disabled? As someone has previously mentioned, DP does not seem to have a privacy policy
