.EU domains are getting popular

I live in central Europe and I can see .eu domains picking up very fast lately. I see them on trucks, in shops, in all kinds of advertising. But this is happening the last few months. There are almost more .eu than .com or my country domain codes now.

I think .eu domains are really picking up!

Wow, I'm kinda surprised. As far as I know, MANY of the best .eu names are being held by domainers. I thought it slumped like .mobi.

They are picking up... pretty soon they'll be locked @ the top five best TLD's of all time..
.com of course always being the #1..
It works by strongest country... they're only as popular as the country is... even if no one in that country buys them... the countries themselves propel or destroy their own TLD's by association..

I have never seen a website with an .eu extension, either posted manually or showing up in a search result!

I think it may be more popular where the countries are happier to be in the EU - mostly Central/Eastern Europe. And there's still the risk that the EU may just fall apart or be marginalized.

They got a little bit popular because last month there price was 1 euro, don't blame me for not telling, I wouldn't want to see them go the way .cn did
