I am planning to start a new directory, but I want to know a good script that contains the phone number option too.
the free version does not have the phone option number if I remember well. the Pro version is the best out there. And it is only 25$.
Sorry to jump in, yeah you can set it that way, to only accept one link per domain or unlimited, so no probs.

You don't need to waste your money on any scripts as being badly advised above. There are plenty of scripts that are actually developed with these extra fields in mind, including the one in my sig and it won't cost you a penny to add any modifications as the one above probably will. Although with the amount of posts you have under your belt here your pretty astute at that.
Virtually any of the quality scripts allows for the addition of fields. So you could add the phone number or even hair color if you wanted.
Utter nonsense, Any script which is smarty based is easy to edit if you know html and smarty, if this is your only justification for using phpld you should try all of them as most use smarty. Thanks aubenrey
I agree, ive been able to install loads of mods on my own, make minor changes and still feel comfortable with it and i know zero about smarty and php and all that.
Another person who recommends phpLD Looks like there is a good positive feedback from the users who testes and use it. It is not me... it is the quality pf the script that almost self promotes it.
More like, just another person who has not tried any other script. I hear this time and time again and I would like to bet that these types of comments come from a person who has not even tried phplynx! I have used nearly all of the directory scripts available and have preferred to use phplynx as it give me all the features I require from a directory. In Brief don't judge a book by its cover, phplynx is a very good script, I would like to think that any serious user of the script will also say this, the support is very good and the script is bug free.
