    Hi,

Does .edu links help non-English sites rank?

I have an idea that even .com links from sites in English help international sites rank, but I'm not sure.

    Does anyone know for sure?

    Thanks, Mads

If you've theme based site and you're using few English keywords I think it should help.

links in general if they are of high quality should help the overall rank of your site, I haven't read anywhere that international links are worthless so I assume the same is true in reverse.

Links are about quality, not quanitity. You want backlinks to be relevant as well, no domain extension has any special value over the others. Only cc-TLDs tend to rank better in their gregraphical area.

cc-TLDs? Understand the TLD part, but what's the cc all about?
