Is it practically possible to make a website that earns 1000$ a month?

A fellow DP member posted his idea to make 1000$ a month in his thread at, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=906275 his point is very clear and very good. But he wants to create 33 websites but I think its possible to make 33$ a day with one or two websites too but what is important is that page rank of not the main page but also the internal page is above 5, like Wikipedia. In wikipedia the internal pages have a very high page rank and this probably is the main cause why they get so much traffic. They have good content too. So if you guys team up and create a network of blogs linking to each other in your posts, I think this is possible.

If anyone is organizing such a thing where you all write on similar topics on different places and link each other, then let me know too.

Yes it is possible to make a site that makes more than $33 a day

No you don't need to create a link farm to do it, and there is a high chance it wouldn't help or would one day result in penalties

No you don't need pagerank 5 on the homepage or any other page to succeed. It's traffic you need not pagerank. Focus on traffic and pagerank will come along soon enough, although by then you won't care about it. But focus on pagerank and traffic (and income) won't necessarily follow.

It's been said many times but you need a site that people want to visit, are pleased to come across, and has useful information in.

You should never aim to make a website that makes you $1/day. What kind of junk is that...

Focus on one - three sites at a time and develop them. Then stick with them or move on. If you decide for the later you could in about a year (with some freelance helpers) probably develop your 33 websites, that would be quality and as well earn much more than $1/day.

it is possible, but you have to be patient. $1000 a month can happen, but it will not happen overnight

    Why Not?
With good amount of traffic and well placed ads you can achieve it.

I think it is better to have 5 sites, all from different niches. If you do this and all day make interesting posts you can do this. But it is not so easy and requires time.

Its seems to be very possible. It could probably be acheived in a few months. For a website I just started two and a half weeks ago, I made about $170 in June with very little traffic, only around 30 unique visitors per day.

For the 1 and a half day this month, I made about $85 so far. I'm hoping that I can surpass $1,000 per month by September or October.

It's not that hard. I was making $1000+ last summer, but then I had to abandon all my websites because of school, but I'm starting over. At the beginning, I made around 4-5 sites, then just weeded out the weak ones and built up the strong ones. I saw what was working with the strong ones, and I built replicas of those.

Just please don't make really spammy websites that look terrible.

But honestly, I've been spoiled from the money I amassed last summer. I've spent half of it on domains, websites, ghost writers, design work, etc. I used to do everything by myself.

Seriously, don't go for the $1/day per website route; it takes to much time. Honestly, do you have time to log into 30 accounts each day and post on each of them? It gets too tedious.

Also, on this particular forum, I notice that there's tons of spammers. Everybody tries to hide their affiliate links, hell, if I go on the Clickbank forum and browse, I get spammed through PM by so many people trying to sell me something.

Building income is a gradual process. You should be content making $1/day in the first month then working your arse off promoting and link building. If you grow @ 50% per month you'll be over $33/month in 10 months.

Nothing happens overnight but it's definitely possible and many have achieved these goals

A lot of people are making a lot more than that from their websites.

Google is making more than anyone else from the internet :)

while its very possible to do that, i suggest not putting all your eggs in one busket. if you have 1k/month target, then why not make 2-3 sites and make that much. use different niche and different programs (like adsense, cj, linkshare, etc). that way you are lot safer and if one income goes down, you still have couple of others going

This reply is extremely top bullshit.

"extremely possible, very easy" -> looks extremely like a generic reply. You could just as well write "Hi I'm George" and your post would be of the same value or even more.

It would be decent if you elaborated your answer to at least 3 lines...

Unfortunately, here on Digitalpoint, you'll find tons of replies like this.

I seriously think sometimes people don't even read the topic, and just post a reply by what they assume the topic would say based on the title.

Also, I've seen way too many spammers starting out pleading for help, posting about how to make money.

Then, a week later, they have "Learn How I Made $10,000 In A Month" in their signatures.

Yeah, I'm with you bro. I am aware of these spam replies, however the poster has no signature to spam with, has only 30 posts even though he joined over a year ago, February 2007.

Why he suddenly decided to reply here on this thread didn't make much sense to me as it doesn't seem like his intentions were to spam so I was curious why he even replied...
